Woody, Spicy, Floral
‘L’Orée du Bois' is a dress Jacques Fath designed for Rita Hayworth’s wedding trousseau. For the perfumer Luca Maffei, the Gold color symbolizes this sensual actress. And so he created for l'Orée du Bois a spicy gold accord composed with Cumin, Saffron, Cinnamon.
L’Orée du Bois evokes a sensation of plenitude that one feels once entering the woods carried by different senses. The golden glimmers of the sun, playing hide-and-seek among the branches, are the promise of a peaceful walk. However, surprises may occur: who knows what lies behind the Woods?

" L'Orée du Bois was the name of a dress created by Jacques Fath for a Hollywood actress, Rita Hayworth. So as the name and the color of the juice were Gold I chose to work with the Mimosa Flower and I created a spicy Gold accord to go along with it. The Saffron note renforces its warmth together with a natural Honey touch. Then a musky note paired with a creamy Sandalwood creates a velvety, woody, leathery sillage. "
